State of North Carolina Haywood County. Know all men by these presents that I David Peake of the County of the County [sic] and State aforesaid for value Received of John Lamm of Said County and State do assign and transfer ever unto the Said John Lamm and his hirs all my Right title Clame and interest which I have and hold in and to a tract of Land Containing Seventy acres Situation lying and being in the Said County of Haywood and[?] State of North Carolina of Section No. 32 and in district No. 12 and Which I purched at the Land sails held at franklin in the County of Haywood and in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two and on 31st day of October and do direct and Request that the Secratary of State do Isue a grant in the name of the Said John Lamm or his heirs or assigns as Soon as the Said John Lamm his heirs or assigns doth well and truly pay into the publick Tresuary Such Sum or Sums of money as is Still due and owing to the State in Consideration of the purches money in witness wherof I have hereunto Set my hand affixed my Seal this 23th day of September A.D. 1828 Signed Sealed and delived [sic] in the presents of

Proven in open Cort by the oath of William Brison Reorderd & ordered to be Regeised[?] Sept. term 1829 sertifed N. B. Hyatt Clerk & was Registred in this office November 2d 1829 Sertifed by me
