Know all me[n] by these presents that I Jonathan Philips heir a[t] law of Robert Phillips decesed of the State of North Carolina and Macon County for Value Recived do assign & transfer overunto Thomas Ammons of the County and State aforesaid all my Right tigle Clame & interest which I have for a tract of fifty acres of land Situate lying and being in Sd. County of Section thirty and in district twelveth and which was purched at the land Sail held at Wainesvill in the year one thousand Eight hundred & twenty and I direct and Request that the Secretary of State ishue a grant in the name of the Sd. Thomas Ammons or his heirs or assigns as soon as the purches money is finaly paid to the State for the Same witness my hand and Seal this 25th day of September 1829
