State of N Carolina Macon County Know all men by these Presants that I Thomas Long Debety Sheriff have this day sold at Publick Sail a Certain Improvement lying on Middle Creek in Said County sold as the property of James Whels at the surt[?] of Zachariah Peak for and In consideration of two Dollars and Seventy five Cents to me in hand paid by William Carpenter I bond myself and heirs to Warrent the Right of the Said Improvement to William Carpenter so fare as my office Extends and no farther given under my hand and seal this April the 9th 1833

N Carolina Macon County Court of pleas and quater Session October Term 1834 the Within deed Was Acknowledged in open Court in proper Person and ordered to be Registered Recorded in Book B on Page Ninth
