William Hyde,

Military: Rev. War, NC #30.86. William Hyde of Macon in the State of North Carolina who was a Private in the Company of Captain Ramsey of the Ret. Commanded in the N. Ca. for 20 months. The rate of 33 dollars 33 Cents per annum, commence on the 4th day of March 1834. Certificate of Pension signed this 4th day of Nov. 1836. (Transcribed on the Roll of N. Carolina)

William Hyde was born about 1749 in Bladen County, North Carolina, the son of John Hyde. He married Jean Thompson on August 1, 1764. They lived most of their married life in Lincoln County, North Carolina.
