M. N. Long being sworn doth say: That D. Carpenter, late of said county is dead without leaving any Will and Testament, and that M. N. Long being the choice of the heirs is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration on the Estate of the said D. Carpenter. Further that the value of said Estate, so far as can be ascertained at the date of this application, is about $35.00 and that Mary Rhodes, D. H. Carpenter, Josie N. Justice, R. J. Long, Martha Ledford, Lydia Ledford and the heirs of Sarah Gribble are entitled as heirs & distribution thereof.
