Revolutionary War Soldiers
Richard Carver was born ca 1764 in Albemarle Co., VA. He served in the Revolutionary War first in Bedford Co., VA, and then in Washington Co., VA. After the War, Richard and his family moved from Virginia to Spartanburg Dist., SC and then to the part of Pendleton District which later became Pickens District (now Pickens County), South Carolina, where he died sometime after the 1850 census was taken.
