My grandfather, Oliver H. "Doc" Ames was the Clark County Judge from 1906
until his retirement in 1968. He came to Clark in 1904 and during his life here he collected a
large assortment of things which I will be adding to this site. |

Clark County is located in the northeastern part of the state, and was created from Hanson County in 1873. The county seat is Clark. The population of Clark County, in 2000, was 4,143. |
