At the evening worship hour, 8 o'clock the young people of the Garden City Methodist Church, under the direction of Mrs. Weinreich will present a pagaent, "Lovers of Jesus".

You are cordally invited to come and worship and enjoy this pageant.

Prayer meeting, Thursday evening at 7:30.

Monday evening the boys and girls of the Primary Sunday School class attended a Hallowe’en party given for them by their teacher, Mrs. Barber. Those present were: Mary Brown, Ardis Christenson, Darleen Scott, Belva Fausch, Shirley Mills, LaVonne Madden, Wallace Shoemaker, Robert Kirby, Mervin Fisk, Robert Russell, Robert Brown, Tommie Mohr and Richard Mills.

We should consider our children as well as ourselves— Be sure to vote "No" on Amendment B next Tuesday.


HOSPITAL NOTES

Helen Bender sustained a fracture of her right leg on Thursday. She received treatment at the local hospital.

Irene Bale was discharged from the hospital on Saturday. She returned to her home at Wallace.

Forrest Stimson sustained a fracture of his right arm on Friday. He received treatment at the local hospital.

Car1 Taylor while at work on a relief project was thrown in such a manner as to sustain a fracture of a vertebrae. He was brought to the McIntyre Hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Mrs. Charles Barber of Lily was admitted to the local hospital for treatment on Monday.

Mrs. Will Lehna and baby boy were discharged from the hospital on Sunday. They returned to their home in Crocker.

Born to Mrs. William Whitlock a baby boy at the McIntyre hospital on Monday night.

BRADLEY PERSONALS


Tom Scanlan and family of Pierre visited his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Scanlan here Sunday.

Miss Grace Hartmnn of Garden City has been spending the past week with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Minthorn.

Dorothy Madden, who is teaching in the Ash Consolidated school visited her niother over the week end.

Miss Olive Bjerke and Miss Audrey Kirby who are attending Northern Normal at Aberdeen visited with relatives here Saturday and Sunday.

Mrs. Mary Dudley and daughter, Ada, accompanied Miss Hattie Beeney of Lily and her sister, Mrs. George Husher to Watertown Saturday.

Lyle Stimson and Loren Benson returned last Wednesday night from Rock Island, Washington, where they have been employed in the apple orchards for several months.

Mrs. Robert Brown, Audrey Kirby and Dorothy and Lawrence Madden were Watertown visitors Saturday.

A large number of people attended the St. John’s Lutheran Ladies Aid last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. A.B. Larson. Mrs. Harry Augustine assisted her.

Mrs. Dora Little, former resident here but now of Watertown, has been very ill for several weeks and was taken to the Lutheran hospital Friday in a critical condition.

The Misses Brand, Brandt and Estenson were Watertown shoppers Saturday.

A small group of ladies gathered at the home of Mrs. H. H. Minthorn Wednesday afernoon of last week. Bridge was indulged in and light refreshments served.

Miss Eleanor Olson visited relatives and friends in Bradley over Sunday.

Mrs. Tom Nelson and her mother returned last week from Colman and have rented rooms over the A. E. Olson residence.

Donald Jackson was a Watertown visitor Saturday.

A. B. Larson was a Watertown visitor Saturday.

A. B. Larson and Hans Olson were transacting business in Watertown Thursday.

Anton Peterson has rented his store building to the Town Board to be used for band practice and for the Relief Sewing rooms.

Mrs. Ed. Jackson and Miss Audrey Jackson entertained their Sunday school classes at a Hallowe'en party at their home Tuesday evening. October 30. The Little folks came dressed a~ ghosts and gobblins. The evening was spent in playing games and telling ghost stories. The hostesses served a delicious lunch at the close of the evening. Those present were : Deloris and Edwin Fisk, Mary Grewe, Violet Kebato, Arline Hjermstad, Deloris Bale, Virginia and Jacquine Williams, Elaine Peterson, Helen Forbradg, Fred Brown, Donald Bye, Vesta Schrum and Constance Jackson.

Mrs. Harley Flanders, who with her husband just drove back from California for a visit with her mother, Mrs. Kent at Henry, was taken suddenly ill and was taken to the Bartron hospital at Watertown where she was operated on for appendicitis.

Lyle Stimson left last week for Valley City, N. D. where he will attend college.

Marjorie and Lorraine Larson entertained a number of their school mates at a Hallowe’en party Wednesday evening.

Ward Flanders and sons came up from Sioux Falls Friday for a short visit with relatives.

John Mallgren and family and George Kessler and family of Florence and Wm. Urvig and family of Wallace were guests at the Clarence Peterson home Sunday.

The Misses Vera and Mary Edwards spent Sunday with home folks.
