Regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Clark County, South Dakota, called to order by Chairman Madsen. All members present. Minutes of the September meeting were read and on motion by Huffman, seconded by Ullyot, were approved as read. Motion made by Fryslie and seconded by Finstad that the following reimbursements be accepted by the County: $50.00 paid by Ward Flanders for care of Mrs. Ward Flanders. $15.00 paid by Walter Nogelmeier for medical care of Mrs. Walter Nogelmeier. Resolution Releasing Securities Commissioner Ullyot introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: Be It Resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Clark County, South Dakota, the funds of said Clark County on deposit in the Clark County National Bank, Clark, South Dakota, being sufficient, considering the Government Bank Guarantee Act, insuring all deposits up to the sum of $5,000.00 are sufficient, and considering that the balance of bonds retained for security are sufficient, that the Treasurer of said Clark county is hereby directed and authorized to release: U. S. Fourth Liberty Loan Bonds, 4½%, due 10-15-38, $10,000.00. The foregoing described bonds being bonds pledged by the Clark County National Bank of Clark, South Dakota, with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for safe keeping. Motion made by Fryslie and seconded by Ullyot that the statement from the Custer Sanitarium for care of patients for the month of September, in the amount of $177.62 be approved. Motion carried, all voting aye. Motion made by Finstad and seconded by Fryslie that application of R. H. Jackson for abatement of 1932 taxes in the amount of $1.54 be granted. Motion carried, all voting aye. Motion made by Finstad and seconded by Huffman that application of J. S. Cogate for abatement of taxes in Cottonwood township in the amount of $2.00 be granted. Motion carried. All voting aye. Motion made by Fryslie and seconded by Huffman that the application of William Blewett for abatement of taxes in the amount of $1.00 be granted. Motion carried. All voting aye. Motion made by Fryslie and seconded by Huffman that the bill of H. P. Volin, M. D., of Lennox, S. D., for the care of Katie Meyer, in the amount of $163.00 be rejected. Motion carried, all voting aye. Motion made by Fryslie and seconded by Huffman that the bill of Elizabeth Harvey for hospital room and care of Katie Meyer in the amount of $56.00 be rejected.
