Brennan, Pennington county, South Dakota

Named for John R. Brennan, who was an early settler, one of the founders of Rapid City and an Indian Agent. Some time around 1940 it was renamed Warbonnet and has been known as Siding Eleven. Located on the Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad approximately 7 miles southeast of Rapid City, it seems to have never been more than one or two houses.
