American
Heritage Chairman Jeannette Williams during presentation said it
was with great pride that we honor one of our own and a
privilege to have submitted his name. Mr. Ellison a natural
leader is very supportive of the DAR as a "HODAR" (husband of ).
I personally have served as an officer and volunteer at the
Union County Historical Society when he was a Board Member and
later President. He has helped many people with their genealogy
research at the Roy Acuff Union Museum and Library. He has
accompanied researchers to access family cemeteries which are
difficult to find. Mr. Ellison has obtained copies of several
local Church Minutes to preserve the information for future use
in genealogical research, etc. The National Society of the
DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION Presley M. Wagoner,
President General NSDAR and Ann Salley Crider, National Chairman
of the American Heritage Committee Dedicated to the Preservation
of our American Heritage: Its Built and Natural Environments
Presents this certificate to ROBERT B. ELLISON in Recognition of

Historic Preservation began in 2000 to present for Mr. Ellison.
The Criteria Focus on Historic Preservation of the recipient was
to restore or preserve objects of historic cultural

Thru his guidance of locating, identification, documentation and
publication the preservation of our ancestral cemeteries will be
a visual genealogical tool for future generations. His Historic
