Notes: New Hope Cemetery has been unused since the 1930's. It rests on land once owned by a Hardshell Baptist Church. Thanks to a recent restoration project conducted by student organizations at J. U. Blacksher High School, Uriah, AL, many damaged tombstones and graves have been restored or replaced. Where the new stones were added, the original slabs still exist, but are unreadable.
