Williams Family Cemetery
Akron, Hale County, Alabama
Williams Cemetery, Akron (Hale County) Alabama East of Alabama Highway 60, East of Akron.
I have text for a small family cemetery in the middle of a
cow pasture in Hale County, Alabama. It has the name Williams over the wrought
iron gate. I call it the Williams Family Cemetery. I am still trying to fit all
of these folks together in some sort of familial relationship. Among the
surnames are: True, Williams, Bishop, Windham and a few others. I collected the
information on video tape and transcribed it. It is not the property of anyone
else, but I have allowed Lisa Wilson to put it on her Tracking Your
Roots/Alabama page.
I would be happy to share the information and hopefull that if will help someone
fill in some blanks on their family tree! I still have so many questions about
mine!
