EASTLAWN CEMETERY

 

 

The Eastlawn Cemetery is located North and West of Newton, Kansas.  Take Old Hwy 81 to Zimmerdale.  Zimmerdale is simply an elevator and a couple of metal buildings.  Take a right at Zimmerdale (North) and follow the dirt road until it ends.  At the end of that road on the Northeast corner you will find the Eastlawn Cemetery.

 

This information has been obtained by walking through the cemetery.  I am listing name, birth date, death date, marriage date (as available), children’s names (as available) and any quotes or scriptures on the stones.  You will find names listed in alphabetical order by last name.  I will be listing names and birth dates of anyone on a stone even if there is no death date.  Periodically I will go out to the cemetery and update these records.  If there is no death date for someone you believe is deceased please email me at carriehall@fastmail.fm and I will be happy to go out and check for you.  I will also do lookups for other Harvey County cemeteries.
