Hope, Colwich and Andale, died   at Harry Hynes Inpatient Unit in Wichita. S/O Henry and Ottilia (Unruh) Golbek. On Aug. 23, 1941 he married Marie A. Fellers at Independence, KS. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Sedgwick, KS, serving as a teacher for the evening Youth Group, the young married class and the older men and women's class; Hicks-Davison American Legion Post 268, Sedgwick, KS; former 3 term Mayor of Sedgwick, KS (1959-1961), (1963-1967); WWII Army Veteran, serving in the China, Burma and India Theatres. He faithfully attended his grandsons ball games. Preceded in death by brothers, Garfield, Ofield and Lloyd Golbek and sister, Lula Waterfall.
Grattan, Charles D. 11-30-1927 11-29-2005 b. & d. newton ks Harvery co, Don S/O Maude Watts and Charles Grattan. Don was a retired farmer, trucking company owner and an accomplished carpenter and craftsman. He married Wilma Jean Beal on April 20, 1950 and she preceded him in death.

b. Newton, d. Wichita, Retired president of Sedgwick State Bank in Sedgwick.  S/O Thomas Jerry and Henrie Lou(Young) Grimwood in Newton. They preceded him in death. He married Dorothy Mae Nelson June 8, 1947, in Lindsborg. She preceded him in death Nov. 28, 1978. He married Lucile (Tinsley) Honn on June 14, 1980, in Sedgwick. She survives of Wichita. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Sedgwick where he served as a church elder, deacon, treasurer and choir member. He was past commander of the Hicks-Davison American Legion Post No. 268 in Sedgwick. He was a former Sedgwick City councilman and school board member. He also was a member of the Sedgwick Booster Club. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater as a medic. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.Military honors presented by the Fort Riley Colorguard.
