April 16, 1938 he married a beautiful Sun City School Teacher from Russell, Viola Ruth Streck. Chet was called to the ministry and went to Bible School in Minneapolis, Minn. He served as pastor in American Baptist Churches for 40 years. Vi and Chet retired to their Rosalia Ranch on Long Horn Drive in 1987. They were married 63 years. Chet was a member of the Ministers Council American Baptist Churches and has been listed in "Who's Who in the Midwest", "Who's Who in Ministry", and in "The International Library of "Who's Who in Poetry." He was a prayer warrior, helped others in many ways, served as a Deacon in his church, and helped with AWANA. He loved working in his workshop and planting vegetables, fruit trees and flowers. was a truck driver. He was a member of The Father's House of Worship, Sun
City. He was a U.S. Army Reserves veteran, serving from 1958 to 1962. He
was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Leroy Keller.
