Campbell, Mary L. (Frohne)
11-10-1918 11-15-2004 b. & d. Wichita, Retired Municipal Court Clerk with the City of Wichita. Sunset Lawn Cemetery, El Dorado.D/O the late Charles Frederick and Elizabeth Hazel (Grattan) Frohne. In her youth she sang for Gage Brewers Orchestra at the popular Shadowland Club. She lived to see many changes in Wichita - streets that disappeared and became lovely vistas of green burms - landmarks like the old Boathouse and Riverside Park going through at least 4 changes in her lifetime. She was active in all church work, the Boy Scouts, Municipal Court Retirees Club, Daughters of Isabella No. 25 Luncheon Club and National Association of Avon Collectors. Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Freddie Eileen Harris.
Melton, Marjorie (Wagner)
4-7-1926 10-7-2004 b. Emporia KS Lyon co, d. Haysville KS Sedgwick co, D/O Schuyler Wagner and Jennie Marcellus Wagner. She graduated from Emporia High School and from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Thomas E. Ingle of Howard, Kansas on December 22, 1946. Together they ministered to churches in Kansas, including Pomona, Wamego, Ottawa, Wichita, Lansing, and Lewis. Marj's career was as an elementary school teacher, teaching in towns where her husband pastered. After their retirement, they moved to El Dorado where she was a substitute teacher. She was especially interested in international students. While teaching in Wichita, she was instrumental in helping the district absorb immigrants from Southeast Asia after the Vietnam War and loved having them in her classroom. In Leavenworth, she taught English to children of Allied officers from all over the world who were stationed at the army base and sent their children to public schools. Marj was especially involved in American Baptist women's Ministries and traveled to Japan, Thailand, Russia, and Zaire (Congo) visiting and encouraging missionary workers in those places. She picked up languages quickly, but it was her beautiful smile and warm spirit that communicated best and drew people to her wherever she went. Rev. Ingle died in April 1996. She married Robert Melton, of Emporia, January 1, 2000 and moved back to her hometown. He died in August 2002.
Reynolds, Marian
5-2-1922 1-22-2005 b.  El Dorado ks butler co, d.  Wichita, She was a 1940 graduate of El Dorado High School. Marian married to Eldon D. Ruck on October 18, 1941. They were the owners and operators of the Ruck's Electric Service in El Dorado. Eldon preceded her in 1964. Marian married George E. Jackson on November 1, 1970. She was very active in local, state and national politics. Marian and George sponsored the Binh Nguyen family from Vietnam in 1975 and assisted them in settling in Kansas. George' preceded her in 1996. She married Homer L. Reynolds on May 4, 2003 in Rosalia. She was a member of the Community Worship Center in Rosalia.
