Dunn, Robert Lee 4-21-1927 8-3-2005  b. Halstead Ks Harvey co, d. Syracuse ks Hamilton co, S/O Kale Cecil and Ila Emaline Cornwell Dunn. He graduated from Syracuse High School in 1945 and Barber College, Pueblo, Colo. He worked at a service station, owned and operated Dunn's Barber Shop and Bob's Barber Shop and Recreation until 1977, retiring due to health reasons, drove a truck, set up machinery and drove a school bus until 1979. He belonged to Presbyterian Church, was a past member of the Moose Lodge and was a 20-year member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, both in Syracuse. He served in the U.S. Navy, on the aircraft carrier Tarwawa, as an Aviation Machinist's Mate Third Class and was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. He received the World War II Victory Medal and was discharged in 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Cecil Eugene; and two grandchildren.
Gentzler, Ellen G. 3-12-1921 7-28-2005 b. Prowers Co Colorado, d. Ulysses ks Grant co, D/O Abraham B. and Elizabeth Ollenberger Schale. A resident of Syracuse, formerly of Prowers County, Colo., Johnson, and Woodward, Okla., she was a clerk at Woolsworth's Department Store and Duckwalls, was a waitress at Raney's Inn, and was a bank teller for Valley State Bank, Syracuse from 1958 until retiring in 1986. On Jan. 17, 1940, she married Otis William Gentzler at Johnson. He died Sept. 12, 1972. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Donald Gentzler; a brother Herbert Schale; and a sister, Lola Buhrer.
Hamilton, Leona 8-29-1930 10-8-2005 b. Ingalls ks Gray co, d. Hillsboro ks Marion co, D/O James Doty and Alice Blanche Hunter Dotts. She was a branch office manager in banking. On Sept. 19, 1948, she married Thanye Lee Hazelton in Garden City. He died in 1980. On March 13, 1993, she married Marion Hamilton in Syracuse. He survives. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Junior, Virgil and Lloyd Dotts.

Wells, Edna Georgia 6-25-1917 7-11-2005 b. Chariton IA Lucas co, d. Syracuse ks Hamilton co, D/O Guy Martin and Nellie Curtis Henry. She graduated from Syracuse High School. A resident of Syracuse since 1934, she was a farm wife and worked as a nurse's aid at Hamilton County Hospital. On Nov. 1, 1936, she married Henry Harrison Wells at Garden City. He died July 29, 1982. She was preceded in death by a son, Norman K. Wells; three brothers, Guy J., Dennis and Russell Henry; and a grandson.
