A former resident of Lakin, Holcomb, and Garden City, she was a homemaker, bookkeeper, upholsterer at Stutzman Body Shop, manager of Stutzman Western Store and taught at Hartland School. On May 20, 1944, she married Everett Leroy Stutzman at Ulysses. He died Jan. 20, 1989. On March 31, 1991, she married John Gaylon Barton at Ulysses. He died Nov.29,1994.She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Combes.

A resident of Ulysses, formerly of Tribune, she was a homemaker, and bookkeeper for Russ' Food Center.She belonged to Shelton Memorial Christian Church, Sweet Adeline's, and was a Paul Harris Fellow in the Ulysses Rotary Club, Forty's Club, and Monday Study Club. On Nov. 25, 1945, she married Russell R. Binney at Colorado Springs, Colo. He died Sept. 10, 2000. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Hurlbut and Roberta Rouse.

Hennigh in Las Vegas. He died in 1973. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara King; two sisters, Bonnie Oakley and Jane Beach; and a great-granddaughter.

He was a carpenter and paint contractor. He was the owner of Hickman Color Center. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 79, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Odd Fellows Lodge. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. On Oct. 13, 1945, he married Dorothy L. Simpson in Medford, Ore. She died Jan. 25, 1997. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Laurence, Lenn and Dewayne; and a sister, Agnes Williamson.

She was a member of the Early Bird Garden Club, Grant County Senior Center, and volunteered for the Hospital Service League, all of Ulysses. On Aug. 10, 1931, she married Leo A. Wright. He died Feb. 21, 1982. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Wanda Scholtz, Marie Black and LaDonna Wright; a brother, Melvin Brown; a sister, Velma Neal; and three grandchildren.
