SO THIS IS ENGLAND
Americans passing through a typically English street in a large provincial town of the island empire. Even had the picture borne no label, the ivy-covered walls and the chimney pots would identify this as an English scene.
 
GREAT BRITAIN APPLAUDS
Men of the 4th Regiment, Air Service, pouring through the streets of an English seaport on their way to a troop-train bound for France. The U. S. air service was never large enough to protect our lines from enemy planes.
