DIRECT HIT
Sometimes Germans made direct hits too. A high-powered "Filloux 155" and tractor of the Coast Artillery knocked 40 ft., overturned and the muzzle buried in the road by a direct hit near Charpentry, Oct. 5, 1918. 2nd Lt. J. F. Lewis, Battery F, 56th C. A. C., examing breach.
