THE FIELD ARTILLERY GETS IN LINE
The 6th Field Artillery, 1st Division, Lieutenant L. B. Dean and Lieutenant C. M. Ott leading the column, Mandres-aux, France, September 9, 1918. At one A.M., September 12, the American artillerymen began to rip the German trenches to pieces in a four hour bombardment.
