The four sons of Col. Theodore Roosevelt, hero of San Juan Hill during the Spanish American War, distinguised themselves in combat. Quetin, the youngest, gave his life for his country. Col. Roosevelt, Jr., wounded in action, was awarded the D.S.C., D.S.M., French Legion of honor and the Croix de Guerre.
