- The "Roosevelt," a Great Lakes steamer,
passing through the State Street Bridge in Chicago, Illinois.
This bridge was probably the one built in 1903; made of steel,
it used a rolling lift mechanism. Its predecessor, built in 1887,
was a swing type bridge.
