A precious one from us has gone,
a voice we loved is stilled,
a place is vacant in our home
which can never be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled
the book his love has given
and though the body slumbers here
the soul is safe in heaven.

Still there as of Apr. 20, 2001!]

[There's an open space between the Bennatt-Davis plot and the McGuffin plot. At one
time, at the base of a tree near the road was a marker for simply 'Baby'. The marker
sat askance to the trunk. It has, since the spring of 1995, disappeared. I noticed it
missing in Jan. 1996. There was no other info. on the baby.]
[At base of a mesquite tree is a M cornerstone, possibly marking the
McWHORTER plot which is in the area between Bennatt-Davis and
LOUTHERBACK. This area is shown on the cemetery book as being purchased by
McWHORTER. There seems to be no be no graves here.]
