WACO, Tex., Nov. 4--Bond in the sum of $10,000 has been allowed Ray Webb, aged 26, charged with the murder of his father, J.H. Webb, who was shot and killed on his farm six miles north of Mart a week ago last Sunday. The defendant made bond at once and has been released to await the action of the grand jury.
Governor Goes to Open Cotton Palace
Governor Ferguson left this afternoon for Temple, where he will remain until tomorrow night, when he will go to Waco to formally open the Cotton Palace Saturday. Adjutant General Henry Hutchings and members of the Governor's personal staff will join the Governor at Waco Saturday morning.
