MRS. JIM BURCHFIELD DIES IN WACO HOSPITAL FRIDAY
Mrs. Jim Burchfield of Waco and a former resident of the Kirk Community, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 15. She had been ill for the past two weeks.Funeral services will be held at Littlepage Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Henry Brown of Waco, officiating. Interment will follow in the Kirk Cemetery.
Deceased is survived by a son, James Burchfield Jr., a sister, Mrs. Gladys Sommerville of San Antonio; a brother, Ronald Baker of Austin, two granddaughters and a grandson. Her husband, Jim Burchfield Sr., passed away in January 1962.
Mrs. Burchfield was a longtime member of the Baptist Church and had a host of friends here and in the Kirk community who will regret to learn of her passing.
