Funeral Services for Former Wacoan, Long Resident of Denton, Are Held Here at 5 P. M. Monday
Funeral services for Francis E. (Skeet) Shelton, 44, son of the late Dr. and Mrs. S. E. Shelton of Waco, who died at his home in Denton Sunday morning, were held at Denton Sunday afternoon at Episcopal church, and second services were held at Clark's drawing room in Waco at 5 p. m. Monday, Rev. F. P. Goddard of Marlin officiating, burial in Oakwood cemetery.

The Survivors
Surviving Mr. Shelton are his widow, who was Miss Katherine Fitzhugh, sister of Champe Fitzhugh; three sons, Eugene and Joe of Denton and Everett of the United States Navy; two brothers, George M. of Midland and J. L. (Leslie) of Canandaigua, N.Y., two sisters, Mrs. R. J. McMillan of San Antonio and Mrs. Stuart Walker of Leander.

Was County Surveyor
Mr. Shelton was born in Waco and had resided in Denton for 24 years, being employed as city-county surveyor. Pallbearers were Walnert Colbert, M S. Brooks Jr, E. E, Roberts, Austin Peay, T. F. Oliver, and Rolla S. Grieg
