 ADAMS, JAMES A.

Funeral services were to be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Osage Baptist Church for James A. Adams, 85, with Rev. Bland Kirby officiating.  Burial was to be in Osage Cemetery.
Mr. Adams died at 12:25 p.m. Thursday at his home, 622 South Ninth.  He was born in Coryell County and owned a farm near Osage.  He lived on his farm until he retired and moved to Waco about three years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.F. Phillips of Route 6, and Mrs. John Alford of Waco; two sons, Alfred Adams of Waco and W.R. Adams of Gatesville; one stepson, Ralph Adams of Robinson; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

 FRANK K. COLE RITES AT MEXIA
Mexia, Aug 1 (SPL)---Rites were held in Mexia Thursday for Frank K. Cole, 53, a retired businessman, who has lived in Tehuacana for the past three years. He was a native of Mississippi, and lived in Columbus, Miss., before coming to Mexia eight years ago. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bessie Leonard Cole; three children, Frank Keith Cole of New York City, Mrs. A.B. Morris of Ada, Okla., and Miss Bessie Margaret Cole of New Orleans, La. A brother and two sisters in Georgia and Alabama also survive.

 HENSON, DAVID LAURENCE

HENSON RITES HELD
Funeral services for David Laurence Henson, 46, Veteran's Hospital employee of 1400 South Eleventh Street, was held today at 2 p.m. at Conally's Chapel, burial in Lorena Cemetery.
Mr. Henson was found collapsed near Robinson about 12:15 a.m. Thursday.  He was carried to Providence Hospital by Waco Funeral Home Ambulance and was pronounced dead on arrival.  Attendants said death came as a result of a heart attack.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ollie Henson of Waco; his mother, Mrs. Nannie Henson of Waco; one brother, M.L. Henson of Fort Worth.

 FINCH, MRS. J.R.

MRS. FINCH SERVICE HELD IN BROWWOOD
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday for Mrs. J.R. Finch of Brownwood, at the Memorial Methodist Church there.  Burial was at the Dripping Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Finch was 96 years old at the time of her death.  Survivors include J.C. Bullion of 2624 Proctor, Waco; a grandson; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren survive.
Mrs. Finch was a member of a pioneer Texas family.  She lived in San Angelo prior to moving to Brownwood 11 years ago.
