Frank Ybarra, 81, of Waco, a retired employee of the Missouri-Pacific railroad in Mart, died Sunday at a Waco nursing home.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Mart, with Rev. W.H. Smith and Rev. Hugo Contreras officiating. Burial was in Mart Cemetery.
Mr. Ybarra was born April 1, 1902, in Mexico.
Survivors include two daughters, Dr. Rosa Oakes of Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, and Geneva DeLuna of Mart; a son, Daniel Hernandez of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


Miss Selma Hanath, 69, of Route 7, Waco, a long-time resident of McLennan County, died Tuesday at a Marlin nursing home.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Connally-Compton Downtown Chapel in Waco, with Rev. Robert Palan officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park.
Miss Hanath was born Dec. 19, 1913, in Limestone County and lived most of her life in the Riesel community. She was a Lutheran.
Survivors include three sisters, Alice Abel and Ella Ermel, both of Riesel, and Nora Berg of Edcouch; and a brother, Ernest Hanath of Riesel.


Donald Keith McLennan, 25 of Axtell, a former Central Texas resident, died recently from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Zweibruecken, West Germany.
Arrangements are pending at Dorsey-Keatts Funeral Home in Waco. Mr. McLennan was born May 27, 1958, in McLennan County.
Survivors include his wife, Valarie McLennan; two sisters, Wanda McLennan and Juanita Cobb, both of Austin; three brothers, Jack McLennan of Denver and Leonard Ray and Lonnie Darnell, both of Waco; and his mother, Georgia McLennan of Axtell.


Mrs. Robert (Myrtle) Burdick, 86, of Mart, died Monday evening in a local nursing home.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church of Mart with Rev. John McKee officiating. Interment was in Mart Cemetery.
Mrs. Burdick was born April 3, 1897 in Taylor County, Texas, the daughter of Bud and Molly Burmingham. She was married to Robert Burdick on January 21, 1933 in Waco. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Mart, where she had served as president of the Kings Daughters Sunday School class for 16 years. She was also a member of the Mart Home Demonstration Club and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter here.
Mrs. Burdick is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Dansby of Bedford; one niece, Evelyn Faye Regan of Delphia, Maryland; and three grandchildren.


James D. (J.D.) Milliman, 66, of 2507 South 25th, Waco, died Monday evening in a Waco hospital. He was a former resident here.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. here, with Rev. W.H. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Riesel Cemetery.
Mr. Milliman was born Oct. 17, 1916, in Riesel. He had worked 35 years with Missouri-Pacific Railroad and retired as a conductor. He was married to Dorothy Garner on July 29, 1939 in Corsicana.
Survivors include his wife of Waco; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Jo Ann) Redden of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Wayne (Jadene) Walts of Robinson, and Mrs. Wesley (Judy Lynn) Blanton of Hewitt; one brother, Bob Milliman of Holton, West Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Homer (Lillie) Helton of Houston, and Mrs. Corolla Brown of Marlin; and six grandchildren.


Robert Jeffrey (Jeff) McBride, four year old son of Debra Marie McBride Dunlap of Mart, died Monday morning at a Waco hospital.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Littlepage Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. W.H. Smith officiating. Burial was in Kirk Cemetery. The child was born Feb. 1, 1979 in Mexia.
Survivors include his mother; his stepfather, Robert Dunlap; three sisters, Doris Lee Mackey of Grand Prairie and Sara Black and Gena Black, both of Athens; a brother, Robert Earl Black of Athens; and his grandmothers, Lola Mae McBride of Mart and Annie May Black of Athens.
