 LITTLE MAJORIE EARLE WARD DIES

Majorie Earle Ward, age 13 months, beautiful little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ward, 305 North Smyth street, Mart, died after a brief illness- 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.- Tuesday, Dec. 28.
Her death was unexpected evidently caused, according to the attending physicians, by some foreign substance lodged in her throat, as she was apparently in good health up to the time she gave evidence of having swallowed something that started the trouble, after having fallen to the floor, and caused the mother to summon a physician. It was thought for a time that she was relieved, but shortly after noon the complications arose which soon ended in the going out of the little life. Her home going was a shock not only to her parents and the family, but to all their friends with whom she was a favorite.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. A.J. Holt, was held at the Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, interment in Mart Cemetery.
The young parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
