 DEATH CLAIMS FRANK PHILLIPS, VETERAN RAILROAD SHOPMAN
The unexpected death of Frank B. Phillips, 415 Cowan Ave., Mart, Saturday evening, Dec. 11. He collapsed upon retiring to his bedroom for the night, and expired before a physician could arrive. Deceased has been a resident of Mart for the past 26 years and up to nine years ago was regularly employed as an efficient worker on the I.G.N.shop force here, and then retired on pension. He has lived quietly in the home of his son here, and is survived by two daughters and three sons: Mrs. B. L. Wright, Mart; Mrs. Millie Adkinson, Gatesville; A. P. Phillips, Mart; F. G. Phillips, Groesbeck, Rt. 4, and L. R. Phillips, Childress, Texas ; also 36 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at the Littlepage Funeral home, 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Methodist pastor, Rev. Hubert C. Smith. Interment Mart cemetery. Pallbearers: P. E. Driver, J. T. Stephens, E. C. Glenn, R. ,H. Shieldes, E. E. Gillespie and A. W.
