 Walter Lee Anderson

Mart- Funeral services for Walter Lee Anderson were conducted Tuesday, November 25, 203 at 1 p.m. in the W.H. Littles & Sons Mortuary Chapel in Waco. Rev. Vernon Cook Jr. officiated, and interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Mart. Walter Lee was born July 12,1941, to Marvin and Estella Anderson. His parents, two brothers, and one sister preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Kenneth Anderson of Plainview; three daughters, April Anderson and Betty Thomas of Waco, and Betty Kirvin of Mart; a devoted friend, Jeraldine Green; three sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Cynthia Lawrence and Margie (W.C.) Green, all of Waco; three brothers, Carl
(Velma) Anderson of Lubbock, Samuel (Tambia) Anderson of Fort Worth and Joe, all of Austin; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Frank Richards, Michael Anderson, Maurice Johnson, Ronald Green, Henry Anderson, and Emmanuel Green.


 Danny Lynn Stone

Criswell-Danny Lynn Stone, 49, of the Criswell Community south of Mart, passed away Monday, November 24, 2003 at his residence. Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m Wednesday, November 26, at Criswell Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Wright officiating. Mr. Stone was born December 30,1953, in Martin to Charles Jr. and  Eunice Mae (Briggs) Stone. He was a self-employed auctioneer, and Army veteran, and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Aleghia Barrett Stone of the Criswell community; parents, Charles Jr. and Eunice Mae Stone of the Criswell community; and sons, Heath W. Stone of Groesbeck and Troy M.
