MRS. MCMILLAN

 Mart friends will regret to learn that Mrs. McMillan, mother of Mrs. Laura Colley, former Mart resident, passed away in Houston last Friday. Funeral services were held there Saturday. Mrs. Colley left here some three years ago to reside with her mother in Houston.

 Services Sunday for Infant Son Of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Burney

Funeral services for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Burney of Waco were held at Littlepage Funeral Home here Sunday at 2 p.m., with Rev. A. K. Marney officiating. Interment was made in Mart cemetery. Survivors include the parents, a brother. Richard Gale; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Huff of Groesbeck and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Burney of Mart. Littlepage of Mart was in charge of arrangements.

CONNALLY COMING FOR DR. BUIE'S FUNERAL

Marlin, Feb. 11-- Funeral service is planned here today for  Dr. N.D. Buie, 68, widely known Marlin physician who died Monday. Sen. Tom Connally of Texas is expected to arrive today from Washington in time for the funeral.
The men were life-long friends and they married sisters. The first Mrs. Connally, the former Louise Clarkson, died in 1935.

Stepfather of A. S. Chadwell Dies in Cleburne Wednesday

 H. W. Boyd, 78, of Cleburne, stepfather of A. S. Chadwell of Mart, passed away Wednesday afternoon at his home there. Funeral services were held in Cleburne Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with burial at that place.
Deceased had been in ill health for the past four months and his passing was not unexpected.

D. B. Yarbrough, Formely Of Mart, Dies at McGregor
McGregor, Feb. 16.-Durwood B. Yarbrough, 56, McGregor city marshal for the past three years died at 6:30 p.m. last Friday following a heart attack. He had worked all day Friday but went home Friday afternoon ill. Mr. Yarbrough was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Yarbrough who lived on the Mart-Victoria road. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church in McGregor at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Edward Laux, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. J. Fred Patterson, pastor of the McGregor Methodist church. Interment was in the cemetery at Prairie Hill. Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his widow; four daughters, Mrs. J. L. Mauldin of Rosenear, Calif., Mrs. Fred Covin of Pittsburg, Mrs. Alva Morris of Dallas, and Mrs. Raymond Smith of Waco; one brother, Roland Yarbrough of Gatesville, four sisters, and seven grandchildren.
