Eddie Lahlum's Last Rites Held

CRANFILLS GAP -(SPL)-Funeral services for Eddie Belvin Lahlum, 57, of Cranfills Gap, were held Tuesday at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church In Cranfills Gap. Rev. Iver Haugen officiated. Burial was in Norse Cemetery. Mr. Lahlum was found shot and fatally wounded at his home in Cranfills Gap Monday. He died on the way to a hospital. Justice of the Peace Roger Nevels of Meridian said death was caused by self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Mr. Lahlum was born and reared in Bosque County. He was a farmer and a member of the Lutheran church. Survivors are a brother, Chris Lahlum of Meridian: three sisters, Mrs. Anna Grimland of Clifton, Mrs. Gunda Johnson of Cranfills Gap and Mrs. Curtis Bakke of Clifton.
