 Mrs. W. J. Ingram, who has for many yers resided in the Mart country, died Monday. She leaves a large circle of connections, friends, and acquaintances who mourn her demise, yet feel that somewhere she is enjoying that sweet rest which comes to the tired saints, for of such was she.

 Major T. C. Tibbs of West died today at Provident Sanitarium.  Formerly of Waco, Thomas Coffee Tibbs was born in Scott Co., Miss., November 18, 1939, son of William C. Tibbs, a pioneer of Mississippi.  He died when T. C. was fourteen. C.S.A., 20th Miss., Co. K. Dec. 1862, married to Louisa Leonora Bennett. She survives.  To Texas in 1879.  Member of Waco City Council, 1st ward for 6 years.  Moved to West in 1898. Surviving children: Mrs. W. H. Moser of Dallas, Mrs. Austin Robinson of West, Thomas C. Tibbs of Colorado City, Mrs. Robert L. Summers of Boston, Mass., Miss Carolina, Miss Bessie of West.  Funeral tomorrow, Fifth Street Methodist Church.

 Freddie Stowers, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Stowers of Patrick, died yesterday.  Funeral today.  Burial at Gholson Cemetery.

Thursday January 4, 1906

 Ernest Woods, of near Hillside, southeast of Waco, died today of shotting yesterday by Ben Fenter. Ten shots were exchanged. Both unmarried.

 Dr. G. H. Randle died yesterday at his residence, 1007 Washington. Born Stewart Co., Tenn., Dec. 14, 1836, of Scotch descent.  At age 19, to the University of Nashville, studied medicine. Began practice at Western, Kentucky, 1856; then moved to Southern Arkansas. In 1865, moved to Texas and to McLennan County. Large farm on the Brazos. In 1869, became a resident of Waco, and went into the cotton business. Married in Stewart Co., Tenn. February 23, 1858, to Miss Emma Mizell, who survives.
Surviving children: Mrs. T. O. Plunkett of Robinson, E. B. Randle of Indian Territory, Frank Randle of Colorado, Mrs. Sears Earle of Waco, Payton Randle of  New York City, Mrs. J. M. Milstead and Mrs. Cullen Cooper. Two brothers, J. R. of Whitney and J. T. of Walnut Springs. Funeral today, Austin Avenue Methodist Church, with Knights Templar.

 Robert Brooks, 43, Waco business man, died yesterday at 9th & Austin.  Born Smith Co., Texas.  To Waco 35 years ago.  Son of J. W. Brooks and brother of M. S. Brooks.  Wife survives.  Married about 14 years ago to Miss Maud McKay.  No children.
Funeral today, Rev. E. A. Temple and Elks.

 Luther Phelan was shot yesterday in his saloon, 5th & Franklin. Mark Rice was arrested.  It perhaps was self defense.

 Mr. B. Adams, 317 N. 10th, died yesterday.  Funeral today.  Burial at Hebrew Rest cemetery. Age 70.

 H.J. Holland, C. S. A., resident of Waco 10 years, was yesterday buried in the Pat Cleburne Camp plot at Oakwood Cemetery. Was in 2nd Texas, Teel's Artillery. Age 71.  Family unknown. Fall & Puckett in charge.

 Gladys, eldest daughter of the late Dr. J. Porter Naylor, died at Hugo, Indian Territory, and the remains were shipped to Moody for burial at Moody Cemetery.

The Mart friends of  Dr. Dobson will regret to learn of the sudden death of his father, which occurred last week at Temple.
