Services for  Mrs. A. P. Phillips Held Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. A. P. Phillips, 75, pioneer resident of Mart was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Littlepage Chapel. Rev. W. I C. Beasley, pastor of the Mart Baptist Church officiated. Interment was made in the Mart Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips passed away at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at her home, 303 McLennan Avenue. She had been in ill health for several years.
Deceased was born August 14, 1884 in Limestone County and moved to Mart many years ago. Her husband the late A. P. Phillips, was a MoPac engineer. She was a longtime member of the Mart Baptist Church and had many friends here who will regret to learn of her passing. Survivors include four sons, Lee, L. G. and L. E. Phillips of Mart and Johnny Phillips of Teague. Three daughters, Mrs. Chas. F. Phillips of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. A. H. Webster of Dallas and Mrs. L. J. Hebert of Waco; a sister, Mrs. R. L. Riley of Wichita Falls; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were: George Morris, C. B. Garland, Ray Wright, Roy Smith, C.
