 CLEMENTE ROSAS

Clemente Rosas of Mart died Wednesday, June 23. He was 82.

Services were held Saturday, June 26, at 2 p.m. in the Littlepage Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. W.H. Smith officiating. Interment was at Mart Cemetery.

Mr. Rosas was survived by his wife; four sons, Alfred Rosas of Bryan, Clemente Rosas Jr. and Lupe Rosas of Waco, and John Rosas of San Antonio; two daughters, Isabell Rosas of Mart, and Mrs. Rudy (Yolanda) Aguilar of Hewitt; three brothers, Facundo Rosas of Phoenix, Arizona, Mike Rosas of San Antonio, and Paul Rosas of Waco; and six grandchildren.


 CHRISTOPHER SMITH

Christopher Townsend Smith of Mart, a gunsmith, machinist, and former Waco resident, died from a sudden heart attack Sunday, June 20, at his home.  He was 43.
Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at Mart Cemetery, the Rev. W.H. Smith officiating.
Mr.Smith was born August 11, 1949, in Dallas and grew up in Waco. Mr. Smith graduated from Trinidad State Junior College where he became a gunsmith and machinist. He had lived in Lewisville and last worked at Walworth Company in Waco.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Summer Smith of Mart; two sons, Christopher Townsend Smith II of Waco and Charles C. Smith of Granbury; a brother, Mark W. Smith of Waco; and his mother, Mary Smith of Waco. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.


 DORIS E. STAFFORD

Doris E. Stafford of Waco died Saturday, June 26, at an area hospital.  She was 72.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, Chaplain Curtis Holland and the Rev. Howard Batson officiating. Burial was in Rosemound Cemetery.
Mrs. Stafford was born November 26, 1920 in Waco. She was a graduate of Axtell High School. She married Paul L. Stafford October 1, 1938. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Paul L. Stafford of Waco; a daughter, Bonnie McMinn of Hewitt; a brother, Jack Hawkins of Robinson; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
