 HARRISON, DAVE

Dave Harrison, two months old, infant of Hugh Harrison, died in Moody this morning.  The remains will be sent to Waco this afternoon for interment.
The mother passed away a few weeks ago, and now the infant follows.

TUESDAY

 E.L. Durham died at his boarding place, No. 310 South Fourth street, after a brief illness.  He was 67 years of age, and is well known in Waco, having live here for a number of years.  Deceased leaves a son, Dallas Durham, of this city, and a daughter of Dallas.  The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock, in the morning.  The friends join in extending sincere condolence.

 RIVIERE, DR. JOHN H.

Dr. John H. Riviere died last night at the family home, 1719 Clay street, after a protracted illness.  Dr. Riviere was one of the earliest settlers of Waco and reared a family in this city.  He was the father of Wallace Riviere, the well-known dealer in druggist's sundries.  The family is well known and many friends will join in sympathy for the stricken ones.  The funeral will take place this afternoon at 5 o'clock, services at the residence.

DEAD
 Alpheus R. Brooks, aged 82 years 3 months and 2 days, died at the residence of his son, I.U. Brooks, 622 South 6th street, yesterday at 5 p.m. The deceased was born in Warren county, Georgia, on March 30, 1825, and had served in the Confederate Army. He had resided with his son for the past four years. He was a quiet, unassuming man, much beloved by all who knew him. The funeral will take place this afternoon at Oakwood, J.C. Lee, Funeral director. The services will be held at the cemetery.

DEATH OF AN AGED LADY

 Miss Mary A. Zevied, aged 75 years, died at the residence of her sister, Mrs. F.L. Ferguston, 905 South Fourth street, yesterday evening at 6:30 o'clock. The remains were prepared for burial and shipped to Houston last night, where interment will take place. The deceased had only resided a short time in Waco.

 Died at Dallas
Dallas, Tx, June 14--Mrs. W.T. Vincent died at 9 o'clock yesterday morning at 250 Beaumont street, aged 75 years. The remains were shipped to Waco by Undertaker George Loudermilk this morning.

 TORRANCE, MRS. R.B.

Mrs. R.B. Torrance, aged 54 years, died at Elk at 10:20 last night.  She will be buried tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.

 The many friends of Marshal Franklin in this and Limestone counties, will regret to hear of his death which occurred the 18th instant in Baylor county, where he moved two years ago. He died of typhoid fever and was sick only a few days. He leaves a wife and two little boys.

DIED
 Mr. J.F. Watts, one of Mart's best citizens died Wednesday afternoon after three days of the most intense suffering. He was taken very suddenly Sunday night and grew worse continually until relieved by death. An operation was performed Wednesday morning for appendicitis. Mr. Watts was a carpenter by trade and was held in the highest--

 CLAY, HALLIE

Hallie Clay, a poor demented negro woman who had been confined in the county jail thirteen years, and whose ravings were sometimes distressing to the other prisoners, is dead.  The care of the poor unfortunate woman cost the county $2000 which should have been paid by the state, but the people will not begrudge the money.


TORRANCE, MRS. R.B.

Mrs. R.B. Torrance of Elk, who died day before yesterday, will be buried at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Elk cemetery.  She was 54 years of age and the family has lived in this section some time.  They are highly esteemed.
