 BURIAL HERE TUESDAY OF MRS. G. H. CARTER, WACOAN FIFTY YEARS
Mrs. G. H. Carter, aged 75, died early Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. M. Carroll, Beaumont. The body will arrive here Tuesday morning at 6:30, and the funeral will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m., from the residence of Mrs. Minnie Carroll King, 2216 Morrow Street. Rev. C. T Caldwell, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating, interment to be made at Oakwood. L. B. McCulloch, Sam Renick, Willie Robinson, H. F. Earle, E.H. Hardin and J. R. Davis. Mrs. Carter was one of the pioneer residents of Waco, having lived here for half a century. She left Waco several years ago, to make her home with the daughter above mentioned. In this city Mrs. Carter was known to and beloved by a very large circle of friends and acquaintances, who will learn of her death with the most sincere regret. Besides Mrs. Carroll, three other daughters survive, Mrs. W. A. Taff and Mrs. Lucile Carter, Beaumont and Mrs. V. H. Girardey, Houston.
