 Mrs. M. L. Crow, wife of Oscar Crow, died yesterday at her home in East Waco, age 18.  Married three years.  Funeral from the residence today. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

 Fred L. Roberts died suddenly yesterday at the Presbyterian church. Remains will be shipped to Boston today.

 Mamie Pearl, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Cartwright, died in Dallas at the residence of Prof. W. W. Darby yesterday. The remains will be sent to Waco for burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Remains of Mamie Pearl Cartwright arrived yesterday, and were taken to the residence of R. L. Cartwright on College Heights. Funeral today.

 Mary Bell, infant child of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Orand, died at the family residence yesterday.  A few months old.  Funeral from the residence at 225 North 8th today, Rev. Dr. Page officiating.

 Virgin Flores was killed on Bridge street yesterday by Policeman Robert Buchanan in self defense.  Was from San Antonio; not well known here.  Fall & Puckett in charge.

 Joseph Stokes died yesterday. A single man.  Buried at Oakwood Cemetery.

 Jake Benedick died at his home near 18th & Barnard yesterday. Wife, mother, and two children survive. Employed by Sanger Bros.  Funeral today from the residence, 1716 Barnard; burial at Hebrew Rest.

 Dr. John S. Tanner of Baylor University died at his home on South 7th yesterday.  Heart trouble.  Born Henderson county, Texas, 1869.  Survived by wife and three children. Entered the ministry.  Funeral tomorrow from Baylor. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

 Henry White died at 215 Dallas yesterday, age 75.  Three children: Harry of Waco, Mrs. Sam P. Herbert of Waco, Mrs. Frank Winter of Fort Worth.  Another daughter, Mrs. W. C. Kellum, died some years ago. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

 Mary H. Bird died yesterday at the home of her son, J. H. Bird, 1613 South 3rd, age 66.  Resided here most of her life.  Two children: Mr. J. H. and Mrs. C. J. Davis.  Funeral from the residence.  Burial at Oakwood.

 D. A. Harris died suddenly near the Katy depot Saturday.  Aged 55.  No known relatives.  Was buried yesterday in East Waco Cemetery.

 Willie Mildred, child of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Dunn, age 2 years and 5 months, died yesterday at 1721 South 9th. Funeral today, Rev. W.A. McKinney; burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Saturday March 30, 1901

 M. L. Mihalki died at his home at 8th & Webster yesterday. Born in Germany 1844.  To Texas with his parents in 1853, to near San Antonio.  Later, to Athens, where he married Miss Caroline Cebus, July 1866.  In 1890, to Waco. Had a general mercantile business at 7th & Webster.  Three daughters: Miss Ben Thomas, Mrs. Ed Steed, and Mrs. J. Rufe Bowen, all of Waco.  The remains will probably be shipped to San Antonio.

 T. Jay Womack was mortally shot by A. B. Meek yesterday at the Meek residence near 18th and Morrow.  Family fued.  Meek married Womack's sister.  Womack was a well-known attorney, son of the late Dr. T. J.
