 MELTON, MRS. DOROTHY ANN
Mrs. Dorothy Ann Melton, 38, of Madrid, Spain, died in Madrid Monday.  The body will arrive in Waco Tuesday morning.  Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Compton's Chapel.  Rev. Roy Smith and Rev. V. A. Geeo officiating, burial in Rosemound Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, Maj. Donald L. Melton of Waco, stationed in Madrid; her parents, Clarence V. Martin of Silsbee and Mrs. Abbie Martin of Shreveport, La.; a brother, C.V. Martin Jr. of Houston; several nieces and nephews; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Gibson of Lufkin.

 JOHNSON, MRS. C. L. (FRANCES)
Mrs. C. L. (Frances) Johnson of 1117 North Twentieth Street, died at 11:02 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital.  She was 73.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.m. Monday in Wilkerson and Hatch Chapel.  Dr. Joe Weldon Bailey and Rev. Edgar H. Palser will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband of 1117 North Twentieth Street; three sons, Harold L. Johnson of San Antonio, Ronald C. Johnson of Houston, and Erwin V. Johnson of Waco; three daughters, Mrs. F. Roderick Deland of Baltimore, Mr. & Mrs. Melvin Armstrong of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Dan F. Kelley of College Station; two brothers, Leland LaDue of Beloit, Wis., and Wesley LaDue of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Humphries of Milwaukee, Wis., nine grandchildren.  Pallbearers are Frank Smith, Ralph Dugger, Russell Corbell, Sam Sellers, Albert Mayer, C. F. Ross.
Honorary pallbearer is George Hooks.

 ALEXANDER, Mrs. R. H.
Mrs. R. H. Alexander of Roscoe, a native of Oglesby, died in a Sweetwater hospital at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.  She was 82.
The body will arrive at the Amsler Funeral Chapel in McGregor at 6 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Amsler's Chapel, Rev. M. D. Woodruff of Clifton officiating, burial in Moody Cemetery.
Survivors are four sons, Gene Alexander and W. R. Alexander, both of Roscoe, Robert L. Alexander and James R. Alexander, both of Oglesby; six daughters, Mrs. Dollie Bradshaw of Clifton, Mrs. Earl Embrey of Quanah, Mrs. Bonnie Martin of Gatesville, Mrs. Mary Etta Martin of Plainview, Mrs. R. E. Gracey of Roscoe and Mrs. Tommie Carlson of Brady; one brother, Spurgeon Duncan of Meridian; one sister, Mrs. John Fegette of McGregor.
Pallbearers:  John Chaffel, Dale Hess, John L. Henson, R. V. Sullivan, Rannel Graves, Klyce Allen, Joe Allen, Alton Dalton.

 TALSMA, RICKY LAWRENCE
Ricky Lawrence Talsma, 17, of 1218 Royal Oaks, died at 12:31 a.m. Friday in a local hospital.
Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Compton's Chapel, L. C. Nobles, officiating.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Talsma, 1218 Royal Oaks; one brother, Steven Talsma, 1218 Royal Oaks; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Talsma, Flint, John Irvin also of Flint, Mich.

 ABSHER, WILLIAM E.
William E. Absher, 64, died Saturday afternoon at his home in Mart.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in First Baptist Church in Mart. Rev. W.C. Beasley will officiate with burial in Mart Cemetery.
Surivors are his wife: one son, Charles Ray Absher of Hamlin; one daughter-in-law, Frances Absher of Seguin; two sisters, Mrs. Wylie Duval of Caldwell, and Mrs. H.C. Thomas of Grapevine; six grandchildren.

Mark A. Nelson, 74, of 3401 Homan Avenue, died at 7:10 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Calvary Baptist Church, Dr. Hubert Yount and Dr. A.J. Holt will officiate.  Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. in Milford.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ann Lou Nelson; one son, Mark A. Nelson Jr. of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. Virgil Varner of Milford; one grandson, Douglas Mark Nelson of Corpus Christi.

 WHEELER, IRA SYLVESTER
Ira Sylvester Wheeler, 69, of 1317 North Eleventh Street was found dead in the back yard of his home at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today in Wilkirson and Hatch Chapel, Rev. Newton Pirelo officiating, burial in Waco Memorial Park.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Marley of Mart and Mrs. Billie Jean Hill of 1317 North Eleventh Street; one brother, P. R. Wheeler of Abilene; one sister, Mrs. Frank Holmes of Hamilton; six grandchildren.
