J.T. Timmons, for 23 years a highly respected citizen of the Prairie Hill Community, but for the past four years living in Roby, Fisher county, passed away quietly at his home there. The remains were brought here, interment taking place in the local cemetery under auspices of the Church of Christ and the A.F and A.M. Surviving him are five sons: Ralph, Emerson, Harold, John, Clyde; and three daughters, Mrs. W.J. Allen, Mrs. Will Farris and Mrs. W.A. Montgomery- all of whom were present except Mrs. Farris, who could not be reached by wire. He was preceded to the Great Beyond by his wife by a few years. Mr. Timmons was known for his sterling qualities, and every one could truthfully say he was a good man.
A.S. Rochester of Bangs, Brown county, attended the Timmons obsequies.
