   ROY---Harold and Hazel Field of 5935 S. 2700 W., will be honored at an open house Saturday in celebration of their 60^th wedding anniversary.

Friends and relatives are invited to call from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Roy LDS First Ward Cultural Hall, 5850 S. 2575 W. The couple request that gifts be omitted.

The pair were married May 17, 1922, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Field was born Oct. 27, 1898, in Roy, a son of Orson and Margaret Jones Field.

He retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1963 and from Field Oil in 1980.

Mrs. Field was born March 28, 1903, in Morgan, a daughter of John S. and Catherine Welsh Taggart.

They are members of the Roy LDS 1^st Ward.

The couple had eight children, six of whom are living: Darl R. Field, Gaylen I. Field and Lillian Faye Field, all of Roy; Jeanne Anne Harris of Washington Terrace; and Lynn Marie Miller and Don Field, both of Clinton.

They have 31 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
