Angela Farr-Birchfield, formerly of Lodi died Monday, April 30 in Ogden, Utah from complications of a brain tumor. She was born August 14,1972 in Lodi to Keith B. Farr and Betty Farr.
In her early years, Angela served as a fund-raiser and poster child for the KWIN Sacramento-San Joaquin County Leukemia Society from 1983-86. Nearly $180,000 was raised for leukemia research through her efforts. Angela was an active skater in both California and Utah. She was reared in Lodi, where she attended Lodi High School. She moved to Ogden, Utah in 1989 and graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1990 with honors.
Angela was an active life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She taught Primary and Relief-Society in Washington Terrace Utah. Angela was a sales representative for Deseret Industries for many years prior to her illness. On November 17, 1995 Angela married Jason Edwards Birchfield in the Jordan River Temple, Utah. Her immediate family was present when she left this earth.
She is survived by her husband, Jason; her father, Keith B. Farr of Lodi; her mother, Betty Farr of Washington Terrace, Utah; sisters Lisa F. Rigley (Kenneth) of Layton, Utah and Susan F. Fahncke (Marty) of Kaysville, Utah; and over 100 family members in California and Utah. Preceding Angela in death was a son premature at birth and her grandparents Kenneth and Larene Farr and Clifford and Virginia Petersen of Utah. Funeral services were held May 4 at Lindquist Mortuary South Ogden, Utah. Interment was at the Farr family division in West Weber, Utah. Angela, you will forever, until the end of time be Dad's and Mom's little girl. We spiritually love you.
