Ann Henrietta Smith Sherman, 72, of Christiansburg went to be with the Lord Monday, May 15, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Katherine M. Smith. She was the Vice President of Sherman's & Smithman's Clothing; a graduate of Radford University and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, James Edwin "Ed" Sherman; sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Mary Sherman, Alan and Shannon Sherman, Michael Sherman, all of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Jackson, Brooks, Cord, Allison, and Katherine. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Goodpasture and the Rev. Doug Kanney officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O.
