Located in Wythe Ct., Va I 81 N to Fort Chiswell, Va and take exit 80 (near the intersection of
interstate 81 and 77) the cemetery is on a hill in front of the factory outlet at exit 81 but there is
no access to cemetery from this exit- you have to turn off I 81 at exit 80 and take service road.

Plaque on gate states "McGavock Family Cemetery has been registered as a Virginia Historical
Landmark pursuant to the authority vested in Virginia Historic Landmarks commission act of
1966"
