Orville P. (O.P.) TAYLOR a brother of John Thompson TAYLOR and
son of John Osborne TAYLOR b 1809 along with a biography. Additional
note that this Orville P. TAYLOR had a World War II Liberty ship
named after him the "Orville P. TAYLOR" which survived
the war. It was launched at Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyard Inc
Baltimore, Maryland 1943. 1946 renamed the Samothrace. It was
sold in 1947 to Pacific S.N.Co., Liverpool, and renamed Talca.,sold
again in 1953 to Costa Rica owners, renamed PoPi, and sold one
last time in 1961 to Lebanon owners, renamed the Lydia which broke
up on Whampoa 1967.
