BALDWIN, BLISS   I would like to contact anyone with information on the family of Calvin Baldwin who married Clarissa Bliss 11 May, 1820, In West Fairlee. Their son, William B. Baldwin, listed as Rev. in one reference, was born 26 Oct 1831 and died 4 April, 1866 in Washington, VT. William married Eliza Roberts and they had one daughter, Nora Leona Baldwin, b 29 July 1857 in West Fairlee. I would like information on the denomination of the church for which William was a minister, and any other information pertaining to this family, and to the family of Clarissa Bliss, whose father was Simeon Bliss who married Lucy Southworth in 1792, in West Fairlee. HEDGES - SHAW I am interested in finding information about the HEDGES family, who lived in Randolph, Orange County, VT from 1784-1794. JOSLIN I'm looking to confirm the origins of my gg grandfather Hazen E. JOSLIN. Records of his children indicate that he was born in St. Johnsbury or Kirby in 1876. The SS Application of one of his 3 sons indicates his full name is Hazen Elwon JOSLIN, however, he has also been referred to as Harry E. Joslin. He moved to Lowell, MA at the age of 16 where he started his family. One of his
grandson's, Harry E. Joslin, Jr., was apparently also born in St. Johnsbury,1940, while his parents, Harry E. and Margaret Joslin were visiting relatives there. Vermont Vital Records indicate that an E. JOSLIN was born May 30, 1876 in St. Johnsbury to William R. and Alice (RICHARDS) Joslin. As I could not find any other birth record around the date of 1876, I have been working from this. I have not found a death record in Massachusetts, though through other records I have surmised that Hazan died between 1928 ad 1935, perhaps in VT. No death record has caused difficulty in confirming William and Alice as his birth parents. The line of William is promising, as he descends from Ralph HEMINGWAY of Roxbury, MA, Thomas JOSLIN of Hingham, MA, Rev. Thomas CARTER of Woburn, and the Mayflower HATCH family. I would appreciate any
suggestions as to where I may be able to confirm this information. Thank you....

NICHOLSON Richard Henry NICHOLSON was born in 1795 near Fredericksburg, VA, but lived in Randolph, Orange County, VT before and after marrying Almira ELMER in Marshfield in 1820. ORDWAY I've run into a snag. Having traced my family backward to 1879 and forward from 1776, I still can't confirm the identity of my great grandfather's parents. His name was Walter M. Ordway and he was married to (and later divorced from) Lucy Humphrey. They had 3 children, Ned, Ray and Ethel
(Macey), all born in Chelsea (1879, 1881, & 1882). Lucy was the daughter of Lyman Humphrey of Pomfret and Louisa Metcalf of Chelsea. The records in Chelsea indicate that both Lucy and Walter were born in Chelsea but there is no record of when Walter was born or the names of his parents. Lucy died in Montpelier in 1914, but I have found no record of Walter's death. I tried coming
forward from Moses Ordway (Tunbridge 1776) but still have found no mention of a Walter M. Can anyone help?
