information on the Bragg family. I have Alexander Bragg, born 1826 in
Vermont, married 1 Nov. 1845 in Newburyport, Mass. to Harriet Burnham.
Alexander was the son of Paul and Mary Bragg. The 1810 census for Vermont
shows there is an Alexander Bragg in Springfield, Windsor Co., VT. 1 male
16-26 and 1 female female under 10, 1 female 16-26. There is also a
Nicholas, Nicholas Jr. and William in that same town.
CAPRON - Karen E. Griffin - Elisha CAPRON, a
Rev. War soldier of Norton, MA, bought a log house and 50 acres of land in
1800 in Chester twp. Elisha's first wife, Hannah WHITE, died leaving
4 children who had been b. in Norton. Elisha m. a second time to
Abigail ???, and they had 4 more children who were b. in Chester twp.
child, Hannah; a dau, Nancy who m. 1813, Springfield, VT, Joel STANLEY of
Reading; Elisha, Jr.; Clarissa; Lewis R.; Sylvester; and Sarah. Elisha,
Abigail, and at least 5 children were in Springwater, Livingston Co., NY
by 1814. Elisha d. 1845. Need info, Abigail CAPRON's maiden
name.

MARTHA CLAFIN/CLAFFIN b.ca.1760-65 m. WILLIAM PERKINS. He possibly being
the WILLIAM PERKINS of Pomfret,Windsor Co.,VT 1790. Noted that his wife
was Martha "Patty" (?), was told that there was two others in VT with this
surname, JAMES and DANIEL lived in Hancock,VT 1790.

Foster Seeking info, Jonathan FOSTER b. abt. 1765, in
Mass. 1800 census in Plymouth, Windsor Co, Vt. Census lists
family of 9 (7 children). I also found 4 more births after 1800. William
(1800) Luther (1801) Lynda (1803) and Allis (1805). Luther's death
certificate has mother's name as Sarah. Sarah living with daughter Rebecca
Foster Fay in 1850, also in Plymouth. Brother Luther (d.1865) and Rebecca
(d.1862) are buried at Plymouth 5 corners cemetery, but I have no trace of
Jonathan and Sarah. Need Help. William who married Sylvia Hosley is my
direct line.

Truman SAVAGE. Census shows he was born in NH around 1810 but was married
to Cynthia TENNEY on 12 July 1834 in Hartford, Windsor, VT. Children's
names were John Whitmore SAVAGE, Jasper H. SAVAGE and Lucy Maria SAVAGE.
The 1883 business directory shows Jasper H. SAVAGE and Jane SAVAGE widow
of Truman. I am interested in obtaining cemetery records for Truman and
his family (Jasper was buried in the Christian Street Cemetery) and in
discovering the connection to Thomas SAVAGE (b.1714) and his wife Martha
WHITMORE.
